Format and topic of talks

We welcome proposals of anything you think may be of interest to mesh routing and community networking enthusiasts. Format is very flexible: presentation, talk, discussion, debate, practical workshop, or film screening. The default slot length is one hour (40 minutes talk + 10 minutes questions + 10 minutes break until next one). Lightning talks are short talks which can be put in the programm during the event, it's the perfect opportunity to present fresh projects/ideas. They are limited to 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes of questions.

To enter a proposal, please add it directly to the schedule below. This list is editable without creating an account, by just clicking the “Edit this tab link” on the right. In case self-editing fails for some reason, please put your proposal into a short mail to organizers at battlemesh.org with the details.

Rooms

  • Mainhall can be used for hacksessions and talks, it has audio/video equipment, Thu-Sun talks will be live streamed and archived under https://media.freifunk.net
  • Ceminar Room is good for workshops up to 15 people and has a beamer, no audio/video.
  • ETI Room is available only Saturday and Sunday and has audience seating, audio equipement and beamer, no video.
  • At the Riverside outside you will find powersockets and lights, it is nice for discussions and hacksessions, the grill is located next to it :)
